| How does Paladin market this website to investors? |
| We use seven web-based marketing strategies: Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), online publicity, a blog site, landing pages for key search terms, investor education websites, and micro-sites. |
| What type of investor uses the Self Search™ service? |
|
There are two primary types of users. Investors with larger asset amounts who are experienced working with advisors. And, investors who do not want to submit financial or contact data over the Internet.
|
| Why are "Additional Sources of Prospects" an opt-in service? |
| There is a $35 processing fee for each investor match. The match fee is not covered by the annual advertising fee. Advisors who want additional prospects participate in this service. |
| Does Paladin guarantee the quality of matches that have a processing fee? |
| We screen each match, but we do not guarantee the quality. Some matches will be better quality than other matches. It only takes one new client to cover 100 Assisted Search™ match fees. |
| What are the minimum requirements to advertise in the Directory? |
| Current licensing, at least two years of financial services experience, and a clean compliance record for the past five years. |
|
Am I automatically enrolled in the Paladin Registry when I advertise in the Directory?
|
| No, the Registry is a separate service. Paladin pre-screens the advisors who are profiled in the Registry for investors so there is a qualification requirement. |
